Hi all,
Here listed is a lovely boy we fell in love with during a holiday to Cyprus. He is currently there under the care of a local rescuer, who is holding him while he is undergoing medical treatment for pneumonia.
We found him on the last few days of our holiday and he never left our side. He is extremely affectionate, cuddly and loves sitting in your lap or nearby you. He had previously been TNR (trapped, neutered and released) evident by the clip on his left ear. When we met him, his breathing was rough and arranged for an advocate to take him to the vet where he was diagnosed with pneumonia. We have paid for his treatment and given a further donation for his food and stay with the advocate.
He is estimated to be around 6/7 years old. The advocate is able to facilitate his transport to the UK and can arrange a courier service within 90 minutes of someone’s home.
There are fees of around 600/700 euros to transport him, which I am happy to facilitate part of the costs for. But I do ask for a fee for this reason. I do not want to bring him to the UK to live a worse life. A rabies jab has to take place a minimum of 21 days before a flight. He was fine with the other colony cats here, but I cannot say how he would be in a multi cat household.
To say I fell in love with him would be an understatement. We would have him, were it not for our other cat at home. It breaks my heart to think of him here on the streets. Prior to us getting him to a vet, he would sleep for 12 hours outside our villa waiting for us to wake up and open the door to him.
I have set the fee for him quite high to ensure an appropriate deposit can be taken to ensure the correct steps are taken to get him to the UK. As stated, I can support with some of those costs so it would be unlikely to cost you £600 total, but this can be better worked out over messenger.
