Here is my girl, her name is Akeela she is a great example of a pocket bully short, compact and muscular built. She is from very good lines, one being Big Dogs Romania I do have papers for her but never registered her with the ABKC - she was health checked by her breeder, she had her puppy 1st & 2nd vaccinations, microchipped (I never switched her into my name though 🤦🏽‍♀️) she is not spayed and she is flea and worm treated. Akeela is 4 years old. *Akeela did have puppies in late 2024* Akeela has a great personality, she is very friendly, playful and loves a good fuss and to curl up for snuggles. She loves to chew bones/toys, relax and enjoy the sun in the back garden. Akeela has been brought up and with young children & babies and has been around them her whole life she absolutely loves children, she also lives with an older dog, she also knows basic commands, she can be good off lead but has not very good recall if she sees other dogs so will need some training with this. Akeela is strong on the lead but does get tired quickly, so she will need someone who is able and someone who can put a good amount of time into her, she can be quite dominant towards my older dog, so this can sometimes break out in a fight which is not good for my older dog since she is so strong and over powering. She would absolutely thrive as an only dog with more exercise so her new home can give her as much time as possible, don’t let this section put you off because she truly is such a sweet heart. I’ve found it so very difficult and I’ve been back forth with it for quite sometime and found it hard to have to do this, but her best interests are at heart, I want her to have the best life someone can give to her and as devastating as it will be to see her go, she needs more than I can give her and I can’t hold her back from living her best life. Since having my 3rd baby 11months ago and with a neurodivergent child now going through a diagnosis on top of my partner working away for weeks on end I’ve personally found it extremely hard to juggle all of life’s responsibilities on my own to which it has taken a toll on my own mental wellbeing, this decision has not been taken lightly at all and it will be bitter sweet to see her go onto her next adventure. She is a great dog who deserves more than I can give her. If akeela sounds like the one for you, don’t hesitate to give me a message with any other questions you may have. Thank you.
