Description
This is an incredibly difficult decision and one I never imagined having to make, but I want to do what is truly best for Loki and for my other dogs.
Loki is a sweet, affectionate boy who loves nothing more than running around outside, chasing his balls, and then settling down for a cuddle and a good snooze wherever he can find a comfy spot. He has lived happily with my two other dogs for over two and a half years and has always been a loving part of our family.
Over the last six months, however, Loki has started to struggle within our pack. He has become increasingly jealous of the other dogs and, despite trying absolutely everything we could think of—training, management, professional advice—his behaviour toward them has become more tense and aggressive. It has reached the point where he needs to be separated often, and it’s affecting his appetite, his happiness, and the wellbeing of the whole household. This is the last thing I ever wanted, but I have to put his long-term welfare first.
Loki would thrive in a home where he can be the only dog and receive the undivided love and attention he craves. He adores children, has a beautiful temperament with people, and loves being involved in family life. He needs regular walks, mental stimulation, and someone who will commit to giving him the time, patience, and reassurance he deserves.
He truly is a wonderful dog with so much love to give. I just want to see him happy again, in a home where he can relax and feel secure.
If you can offer Loki the stable, loving, one-on-one home he needs, please get in touch. He will make the most loyal companion to the right person.
