Description
This is Dobby. He is a Jack russell with bundles of energy. My mum got him as a puppy to be a companion for her as she prepared for retirement.
Unfortunately through lack of research on our part, we have realised that we can't give him the life he needs to truly thrive.
He is high energy so would need a home that could give him plenty of time out to exercise and burn some of that off. He is a fast learner where treats are involved and knows his name, paw, sit and wait.
He is very good on a lead and will sit at the curb before being led across the road.
We haven't ever let him off the lead so thats something his new family would have to work on with him.
He still needs some toilet training as he still has accidents in the house, again not his fault. He also isn on a hypoallergenic diet currently due to frequent irritated ears.
He has a very strong attachment to my mum which has led to him having some anxiety when she isnt with him. So someone with time and experience with anxious dogs and a history with Jack russells is a must.
This isnt an easy decision to make but one we know is going to be the best for him in the long run. He may benefit from a home with a sightly older dog and no young children.
He is a very loving puppy and in the right home I know that he will truly come into his own and be the perfect addition to your family ❤️
