❤️ 🐾JUNIE – FOSTER-TO-ADOPT HOME NEEDED 🐾❤️ Cornwall • Devon • Devon/Somerset border only, please. Little Junie is currently still in Bosnia. Hello! I’m Junie 🥰 I’m about 3 months old and as you may have noticed, I come with a rather spectacular set of ears 😂 Best guess is that I’m a Beagle/Basset/Posavac-type mix and I’ll probably grow to around Beagle size, possibly on slightly shorter legs. For now, I’m officially a Junie-cross with deluxe ears! My start in life wasn’t very nice. I was one of lots of puppies dumped at the Bark Ark shelter in a plastic bucket. But I survived. Phew! Then the lovely Paws2Freedom humans spotted my little face in an appeal and, well… apparently these ears are quite persuasive because I melted their heart! I’m almost ready to travel now and I’m starting to think this whole “new life in the UK” business sounds rather exciting! I’ve only recently left the shelter and I’m really missing my litter mates. The world still feels quite big and scary, so the lovely lady caring for me took one look at my little face and has taken me into her home while I learn that people, houses and home comforts can actually be rather lovely. Paws2Freedom are looking for a dog- savvy, kind and patient foster-to-adopt family for me. I’d especially love a sweet, confident resident dog to show me the ropes and be my friend, preferably one young enough to cope with a bit of puppy zooming, playing and general nonsense 😇 Cats? I’ve seen a few from a little distance and had a good look, but I’m not quite sure what I think of them yet. They’re rather mysterious little creatures, aren’t they? 🐈‍⬛️ Children? Yes, but older children please. I’m going to be a shy little girl when I first arrive and I’ll need patience, calm and plenty of quiet time while I learn that my new world is safe ❤️ My new humans need to understand that I won’t arrive as a ready-made family dog. I’ll need gentle introductions, time to build confidence and people willing to fit around the little dog I turn out to be, rather than expecting me to immediately fit around them. And yes… I’m a puppy. There may be wees, that's enough now. chewing and questionable decisions. But have you SEEN my ears? Surely that counts for something 😂💕 I’ll also need a secure garden and a quieter, more rural or semi-rural home please. Busy town life would be far too much for me while I’m learning that the world is a safe place. Before I travel, I’ll have all my vaccinations, worming and the relevant blood tests done, including full Brucella canis testing, so I’ll be properly prepared for my big journey to the UK. A couple of sensible grown-up things too… I’ll need to be spayed when I’m old enough, and your vet may also recommend repeating my Brucella test once I’ve been in the UK for around three months. Everything is expected to be absolutely fine, but my new family will need to be prepared to budget for those costs too 🐾 Because everything will be new to me, my new family will need to follow Paws2Freedom’s settling-in guidance and give me plenty of time, space and gentle introductions while I find my paws.
