With a very heavy heart, I’m looking for a loving home for my beautiful 2 year old Rottweiler boy. This hasn’t been an easy decision, and I want to make sure he finds the right home with someone who will love him forever. He can be cautious when meeting new people and likes to take his time getting to know them. Once he feels comfortable and learns to trust you, he’s a big softie who loves being stroked, getting attention and playing tug of war. He is crate trained and is very clever he picks up new tricks so easily. He knows how to roll over, spin and he does “shy” where he puts his paw over his face which is adorable. He can get along with other dogs when introduced properly and given time to settle and he is good with children but needs supervision because he is a big, strong boy who doesn’t always realise his own strength. He is strong on the lead, so he needs an owner who is confident handling a powerful dog and is willing to work on his lead manners. I’m looking for a patient, loving and responsible owner who understands the Rottweiler breed. Someone who will give him time to settle in, build a bond with him and help him feel safe and secure. This decision hasn’t been made lightly, and I don’t want him going just anywhere. I want to find someone who will see the loving, playful boy he is and give him the happy life he deserves.
