Description

It’s with a really heavy heart we have to find a new home for Zircon. Zircon is incredibly affectionate, loves cuddles and being petted. Will greet you whenever you get home or walk in a room. He’s great with our kids and anyone who comes to our home loves him. As do we. We adopted Zircon from Cyprus and he arrived to us on 10th April (He has a full EU pet passport) we already have a cat from the same rescue centre in Cyprus. At first Zircon and our existing cat got on like a house on fire (they lived together in Cyprus) all was great. Unfortunately in the last few weeks something has changed dramatically and the two of them fight constantly. And it’s escalating all the time. We’ve tried everything but it’s not longer fair to keep them together. Therefore Zircon can only be in a single cat household. Poor zircon had a hard start to life and you can tell he’s so grateful of love and care. We really want him to go a loving home where he can get all the attention he truly deserves. The adoption centre has put him at around 2 years old. He is still playful and loves to chase a ball. He will fetch it, bring it back and wait for you to throw it again for him. At home he has the option of a litter tray which he sometimes uses if he can’t get outside otherwise he goes outside. He loves his food (likely as he once didnt have a consistent or reliable food source) and is not fussy at all. As I mentioned this is a really sad situation but it’s the only fair one for our existing cat who we rescued first and is a lot smaller than him. He has a large travel box which he came from Cyprus in. A pet passport which shows all his vaccinations he had before he came here. If you have any questions please ask.
