Description

Hi, my name is Tia thumpers owner and I would like to give you a bit of information about him. We are unsure of thumpers birthday as he had been rehomed to us, but the previous owners got him in winter of 2021 when he was a few months old so he is around 4-5 years old. I am unfortunately re homing my boy because I no longer have time to care for him properly as I am in college and also have a job, my life is too busy to be able to give him the care and time he needs. Recently thumper developed an eye infection which we went to the vets for and they have given us eye drops for him which is he improving on. The photos I have put up are some I have taken recently so you can see the condition of his eye, it is not a severe infection so don’t worry about that he is on the mend. His personality I would say is quite cheeky, if he doesn’t want to do something he will do anything in his power to get out of it lol. He is quite friendly but he does occasionally nip if he’s unhappy but usually he just licks me, I would say he is quite shy and does get stressed out if he’s being handled a lot but rabbits tend to be like that. He is litter trained to wee in his trays (sometimes does poop on carpet but he’s not used to being on them really) and he gets on fine with other animals we have a cat and 2 dogs and they are fine together. He used to have a buddy called Bambi who passed away in 2023 and I think he may be affected by this slightly as he is a social rabbit and does like being around other animals, although he is not neutered so if you were to home him with another bunny I would suggest doing so to prevent fighting or mating. Thumper is a sweet, cheeky rabbit but I will not rehome him to you if he’s going to be your childs pet as he is not suitable for this, he tends to bite children and gets very stressed/overwhelmed around them so he would not be happy with this environment. He just needs a home where you have time to care for him and give him the love he needs to thrive, which is why I feel I need to let him go as I can’t give him this anymore. He loves fruit and vegetables, isn’t that keen on treats but he likes some, he likes to play with toys and roam around. He currently lives outside in a hutch but he could definitely be an indoor rabbit too but his hutch, hutch cover, food, bottle, etc will all be included too if you did want him to be kept outside. I think that’s everything about thumper I just want him to go to a loving and caring home and give him the things I couldn’t. Thank you for reading - Tia
