Description
With a very heavy heart, we are looking for a new home for our much-loved male Japanese Akita, aged 1 year and 9 months. This is not an easy decision, but due to a recent discovery about my mum’s asthma, having him in the home is now making her very unwell. For her health, we must find him a new family who can give him the life he deserves.
About Him:
Fantastic with people and children – gentle, friendly, and very loyal.
Loving and protective nature, though he isn’t a cuddly dog; he shows affection in his own way.
Very strong and energetic – he needs an owner who enjoys walking or running and can give him plenty of exercise and ongoing training.
Dog-reactive – he does NOT get along with other dogs and can be aggressive towards them, so he must go to a dog-free home. With people, he is calm and affectionate.
Fully microchipped, vaccinated, and up to date with everything.
He is an incredible dog with lots of potential in the right environment. We are looking for someone experienced, patient, and active, who can offer a stable, loving home with no other pets.
