Meet Bailey
I am advertising on behalf of my parents
A little info on Bailey, Bailey is 4 in August and a beautiful example of the breed with his colour and markings, my parents have had him for 6 months but after some persevering have come to the sad decision that it is in Bailey and their other dogs best interests if he is homed somewhere better suited.
Bailey is good on the lead and greets other dogs well on walks. Hasn’t been around cats during his time with them so have no idea how he is with other pets. However he is good with children when the grandkids visit.
He has so much potential to be the perfect companion but he does need a firm boss as currently he thinks he rules the roost and with my mum being disabled it falls on my dad to be authority and well lets just say the mans too soft and bailey walks all over him! Because of this after getting off to a good start when initially bringing him home he started displaying signs of dominance over the other 3 dogs. Started with some food aggression then him controlling when the dogs can enter the room, be near “his humans”, come in from the garden etc. he shows a real nasty streak. Especially to the elderly vulnerable greyhound. This behaviour can come in spells but is really unpleasant and makes the other dogs afraid of him so it is felt he would be better suited in and only pet home. He has been neutered and is microchipped and had vaccinations etc.
All that being said please do call or text sue on ************ for more information or to arrange to meet him if you feel you have a suitable home for this little chap as it is important to us that he finds his final place to live out the rest of his years.
He is KC registered, however we never did update it and only hold a picture of it from his previous owner.
