I have come to the decision to try to find a new home for Purples (registered Violet) due to her becoming unsettled here. Purples is a rescue I took on in February this year with the aim of providing her a forever home. Sadly, she has become stressed now that my 1 year-old has begun to find his feet. She has become reclusive and only emerges for food. I want to be transparent in stating that Purples has an allergy and requires a steroid tablet once a day to prevent her skin from flaring up. When this happens, her belly and feet become affected and she will lick them raw. It is really important that anyone interested in taking her understands this is something she requires. Thankfully, treating this is very cheap! I have been assured by a vet that there are no underlying issues causing this and it is not a flea allergy. She had a full health check in February when I took her on. Most importantly, Purples needs a quiet home where she would like access to an enclosed garden (however she could be an indoor cat). She would prefer no other cats or small children in the home (she’s fine with my 8 year-old). She is fully litter trained and, when settled is very loving.
