💜 Nala – Beautiful Lilac Sphynx Female 💜 Nala is a gorgeous **1-year-old female Sphynx** with a beautiful lilac colouring, inherited from her grandmother. She has a fine layer of soft “peach fuzz” over her body rather than being completely hairless, much like her mum. Nala has an impressive pedigree background. Although Nala and both of her parents are **unregistered pedigrees**, both sets of grandparents were registered pedigrees, and both of her mum’s parents were **show champions**. 🐾 Personality Nala is a very confident, forward and active young cat. She has always had the most **feisty and outgoing personality** of her litter. She is still only a year old, so she may settle as she matures, although she has always been a particularly spirited girl. Because of her feisty nature, **Nala is not suitable for a home with young children or primary-school-aged children.** A home with **secondary-school-aged children or adults only** would be preferred. When overwhelmed or extremely excited, Nala can bite, so she needs an experienced owner who understands cat behaviour, can recognise her boundaries and will give her the space she needs when she becomes overstimulated. 🌿 Nala LOVES the outdoors! One of Nala's lovely qualities is that she has taken **really well to lead and harness training**. She genuinely enjoys going outside and is very good on her harness and lead. She has even happily **run across fields with me**, so she really enjoys having the opportunity to explore and get some exercise outdoors. For her new home, I would ideally like her to continue having **a walk once or twice a week** so she can maintain this routine and continue enjoying the outdoors. Because she is a cat, safety is obviously very important. Quieter walking locations with fewer dogs are best. If dogs are approaching, she needs to be **picked up and kept safely away from them**, rather than allowing her to approach unfamiliar dogs. She would absolutely **love a secure catio** if her new home had one, as this would give her another safe way to enjoy fresh air and outdoor stimulation. However, a catio isn't essential, provided she has some opportunity to experience the outdoors through her short walks. 🩺 Health Nala has recently been **spayed** and has had **three veterinary check-ups since, with a clean bill of health**. ✔️ Microchipped ✔️ Vaccinations fully up to date ✔️ Regularly wormed ✔️ Recently spayed ✔️ Three post-operative veterinary check-ups and given the all clear She is currently not routinely treated with flea medication, as our vet advised against topical flea treatment because Sphynxes can easily lick the product from their skin. Her new owner can discuss appropriate flea prevention with their own vet. 🏡 The right home Nala is a very special girl and I want to find her a **loving, knowledgeable and suitable home**, rather than simply the first person interested. She would suit someone who understands the Sphynx breed, appreciates an active and intelligent cat and is happy to give her plenty of interaction, stimulation and affection. A home where she can continue her lead training and enjoy occasional outdoor adventures would be fantastic. A secure garden/catio would be a wonderful bonus, but she can happily live indoors with regular walks. Nala would come with all her current accessories, including her bed, blankets, XXL cat tree (if required), clothing, grooming supplies, transport backpack, toys, and food. **Experienced homes preferred. No primary-school-aged children.** Please message with a little information about yourself, your experience with cats/Sphynxes and the home Nala would be going to.
