Meet Kiro, a beautiful 2½-year-old pure American Rottweiler with an outstanding temperament. I have owned Kiro for the past year and a half, and he truly is the perfect example of a well-balanced Rottweiler. He is loyal, affectionate, well trained, and very well socialised with people, strangers, and children.
Kiro has lived with my 4-year-old son for the last two years and has always been gentle and reliable. He would be best suited to a family with slightly older children who understand the affectionate nature of Rottweilers — especially their habit of leaning into you for comfort and attention.
He is an extremely loving, goofy, and affectionate dog who quickly wins over everyone he meets.
Kiro is great with other dogs and is currently living comfortably in a pack of 12 large dogs, both males and females.
He enjoys playing tug-of-war with a rope or bite sleeve and has a good working drive while still being very affectionate at home.
Training & Commands:
Speaks on command
"Sit"
"Down"
"Heel"
"Away"
"Watch em" ( he locks eye contact on target)
"Leave" ( release toys on command, ignoring dogs or distractions out on walks"
"Wait" ( when walking on lead he will Wait at the road)
"Ready" ( locks eye contact with yourself)
"Bed"
"In" ( wherever I am if i need him to go back inside or his bed etc he will go )
"Come"
"Up and through" ( for agility)
( I can set Kiro on a toy or a target from 30 metres away and call him off with success every time. As this is a part of his weekly routine training)
Kiro is crate trained, fully house trained, and e-collar trained for off-lead walking. He walks beautifully in the heel position and is generally a pleasure to own.
The only reason for rehoming is that I currently have 12 dogs and need to reduce my numbers.
Kiro is a fantastic dog, and the first person to meet him will undoubtedly fall in love.
