🌸 Meet Betty – A Beautiful, Gentle Girl Looking for the Right Home 🌸
3 years old • Female • Mixed Breed • Currently in St Leonards on Sea, UK
Betty arrived in the UK from Cyprus in September and has blossomed into a sweet, affectionate and playful girl. Betty weighs around 18 kg so is a medium size girl. She is incredibly pretty, loves her walks, and enjoys being close to her people. With the right home, she has all the potential to thrive.
💛 Why Betty Needs a New Home
Betty is finding life with visiting young grandchildren very stressful, and although her family adore her, they know she would be happier in a calm, adult-only home. She needs a peaceful environment with adults or older teenagers who can give her the time, space, and reassurance she needs to fully decompress and settle.
🌟 Her Lovely Qualities
Betty truly has so much going for her:
✨ Sleeps soundly through the night
✨ Fully housetrained
✨ Eats well with no food guarding
✨ Travels beautifully in the car
✨ Walks nicely on the lead
✨ No separation anxiety
✨ Sweet, gentle, and a wonderful companion
✨ Knows her “sit” and is eager to learn more
🐾 What She Needs
Betty can be anxious and overwhelmed with visitors, especially young children. So continued positive training and confidence-building will be important. She isn’t cat-friendly and needs a home without young children. She may enjoy a friendly resident dog for reassurance, but this isn’t essential.
🏡 Ideal Home
• Calm, adult-only household
• Older teens considered
• No cats
• Someone patient and understanding of anxiety
• A quiet routine and gentle guidance
• A family happy to help her grow in confidence
Betty is a very sweet girl with so much love to give. She just needs the right environment to feel safe and flourish.
If you can offer Betty the peaceful, understanding home she needs, she will reward you with loyalty, affection and her beautifully calm nature. 💕
