Description

My stunning girl is looking for her forever home, though no fault of her own Yumyum is one of the loveliest natured cats I have owned. This is solely due to no longer breeding and having to reduce the amount of cats I have. Yumyum would only go to the best suited home so please read the ad to make sure she is suitable for your home and family. 💕personality: Yumush is a true lap cat she loves being around people and is very confident in herself, she likes being around people and will happily sit and sleep on your lap while being stroked. She has been an indoor cat all her life even with the door open she prefers being indoors, on a rarer she may sit on the decking but will never leave. Yumus is quite dominant and territorial of her house, she can accept other cats but it will take a while and proper introductions to be able to be with other cats. She is still very playful and loves chaser toys and catnip will have her rolling around, she’s also has her “wild” trait of hunting she will catch kill and eat anything that moves (spiders mostly) but mice or any small animal will not stand a chance in your home though she doesn’t eat these she will kill them. ‼️Training: Yumyum is very clean she will always use her tray but does like it to be clean. She knows how to open doors if they are not securely shut by pulling at the bottom. She doesn’t scratch at furniture but a scratch post will be necessary. She is also very accustom to her name and tones of voice, when she is doing something wrong a lower tone or clapping 2s will normally deter her or stop her from doing something she’s not meant to (ie jumping on kitchen worktops, opening doors she’s not meant to). She is not a fussy eater and will eat most brands of food. ❌What’s not suitable for her: If you have a dog she will not be suitable for your home, though she is a lot better with dogs now, and may be able to grow to be able to live with one permanently, she is not a fan of them. So it would be best that she went to a home that is free of dogs. A home with cats that are dominant or territorial, again she may be able to grow accustomed to this but it is also possible she will not, she would be fine with more submissive cats or a cat free home. 🩷What home she’d be best suited to: Ideally a home with no pets would be best for her, or a home with only one other cat. She will fit perfectly with most home environments, she is extremely friendly with all people inc children of young ages, or even an elderly personal in need of a companion, she is very low maintenance so is very easy to look after and with minimal grooming needed. Health & genetics🧬: I have had yummy since she was a 4mo old, I have never had a reason for her to need to go to the vet other than her treatments. She did have her first vaccinations done but I had not done her boosters as she doesn’t go outdoors these can be redone if owners prefer. Her father was a golden bsh, and mum was a golden tabby fold, Yumyum only carries one copy of the FD gene, they were both TICA registered but the breeder did not register her litter so she herself is not registered but is a pedigree (TICA accepts the mix of fold and bsh to be pedigreed, due to to fold not being allowed to breed). Yumyum is a single fold, her ears are very small but still partly visible rather than flat to her head. She I have had 3 healthy litters over the years from her she is also an amazing mom to her kittens, she is not spay but would prefer her to go to be a pet only or hobby breeder home. All my cats live in the house and are treated like babies this would be the same exception from her new home. Please do feel free to ask any questions, and if you think your home would be a good fit for my girl let us know alittle about yourself and your home🥰! Happy fur baby hunting!
