Description

PLEASE READ FULL ADVERT It breaks our hearts to write this post, but due to a recently confirmed severe dog allergy in our 6-year-old daughter, we must find a loving, forever home for our beloved Rosie. Rosie has been part of our family since she was 8 weeks old, and because this decision is so difficult, we will only consider serious, dedicated inquiries. I have tried to include as much information as I can about Rosie. About Rosie: Age: 5 years old born 26/09/2021 Breed: Rottweiler KC Registered PLEASE NOTE TOSIE IS SPAYED. Personality: Gentle, affectionate, loyal, and friendly. She loves nothing more than cuddling and playing "fetch it" with her toys indoors all day long! Home Environment: Rosie is strictly an indoor family pet, NOT a guard dog or an outdoor dog. Food: Rosie is fed a few diet. She had half a block in a morning and a boiled egg and a full block in an evening she also has a denta stick once a day. Behaviour & Training: Fully house trained and very well-mannered in the home. Commands: Knows sit, down, paw, stay, wait, and between (stands between your legs). On Lead: Walks well, though can pull slightly when first setting off with excitement. Recall: Good recall off-lead, though we keep her on-lead around high distractions or unfamiliar dogs. Travel & Outings: Wonderful on holiday! She has stayed in caravans and cabins with us, and has enjoyed visits to pet-friendly restaurants. Socialization & Compatibility: Children: Fantastic with people and good with children. She has been raised around our daughter since she was a baby. She is gentle, though she can occasionally be a bit clumsy around babies and toddlers due to her size! Strangers: Friendly, though can be slightly nervous if unfamiliar adults approach her too quickly on walks. Other Animals: 🟢 Good with: Medium to large dogs (similar size or bigger). 🔴 NOT compatible with: Cats, small animals, or small dogs. Our Requirements for Rosie’s New Home: Rosie is currently restricted to our kitchen to manage my daughter's symptoms, which is heartbreaking for a dog who is used to being fully involved in family life. We want her back in a home where she can be a true companion again. Ideal Owner: A loving family or couple who will keep her indoors as a true family member. Playing with her toys and dedicated to walking her daily. She is a lazy dog and doesn’t require long walks she is more than happy with an half an hour walk in our local park. Home Setup: A home with NO small dogs, cats, or small pets, and a fully enclosed, secure garden. Rehoming Process: We strictly require: 1. A few initial meet and greets to ensure complete compatibility between your family and Rosie. 2. We will personally bring Rosie to her new home to ensure the environment is safe, suitable, and right for her. To make her transition as comfortable as possible she will come with all her toys, bed, lead harness, water and food bowls and any remaining food and treats. Please message me with details about your home, family setup, and experience with large breeds if you believe you can offer Rosie the loving home she deserves.
