It is with a heavy heart that we are looking for a new "forever home" for our beautiful boy, Fella. He is a 14-month-old purebred Fox Red Labrador (registered as Yellow on his official vet card). We have owned him since he was a tiny puppy. ​ He comes from a wonderful line of purebred Labradors, and we actually know his full family tree—you can see photos of his stunning Fox Red Dad, Mom, and Grandma in our ad! ​ Reason for Rehoming: Due to complex family circumstances (caring for children with severe autism), our household has become too sensory-sensitive. Fella is a fantastic dog, but he is currently "too much dog" for our busy environment, and we cannot give him the structured time and active lifestyle he truly deserves. ​Personality & Traits: Fella is the definition of a happy dog – he is joyful 99% of the time! He has a wonderful, incredibly loving temperament and shows absolutely zero aggression. He adores people and children. However, because he is a big, strong "teenage" puppy, he gets very excited and will jump up to greet you out of pure love. Training & Daily Life: Fellas leash training and recall need dedicated work. When the leash comes out, he gets extremely excited, he may pulls, and treats walks like a big adventure. He needs a strong, confident owner who has the time to teach him boundaries and give him the daily physical exercise he craves. He is in perfect, athletic physical shape. Ideal Home: Fella will make an incredible companion for an active individual, a couple, or a family who understands large, energetic breeds. He needs an environment where he won’t be left alone for long periods of time and a secure garden to run around in.
