Sadly we are looking for a new home for our beautiful 6.5 month old female Miniature Dachshund Penny Pickle. She is a typical, affectionate pup in many ways, but she requires a specific environment to thrive.
Ideal Home:
Strictly Adult/Older Children Only: Penny needs to be around older people, who can understand how to respect her space. Unfortunately she has been quite reactive with our 4 year old, as he doesn’t understand that he cannot cuddle/play with her constantly.
Experienced Owner: Someone familiar with the Dachshund breed and “small dog” boundary setting.
Training Focus: She is at a prime age for training and would benefit from someone who can work on her confidence and socialisation.
Alone Time: Penny does not like to be left alone for long periods of time, she would benefit from a home where she will not be left alone for long periods frequently.
The most important thing for us is to find Penny a suitable, loving home so we are open to offers on the price for her.
