Description

Yoshi is a Pineapple Conure who is almost 5 years old. The average age for conures is 25-30 years, so he's still young! He is not recommended for a first time bird owner. Yoshi sadly lost his bonded companion and has been lonely. Unfortunately, due to a breakdown in my marriage and a spinal injury, I am not able to give Yoshi the love and attention he deserves. It takes him a while to warm up to a person, so he will need someone who is willing to give him love, attention, and daily interaction to be able to form a bond. He loves having baths in either a large dog bowl or a gently running tap! He loves to snuggle in his furry hideaway and is fascinated with phones and tablets, especially if the front facing camera is on! 🤣 His favourite treats are sesame sticks, dried banana, millet and fresh sweetcorn! He has a small vocabulary that includes "Thank you", "Yoshi Sleep!", "Sleep Well" and "Thank you". He has never had any health issues. He will need a lot of care and interaction for him to build trust, to start with he might try and bite if he is rushed to engage. However the effort will be rewarded by a loyal lil bird who loves to snuggle against you after a bath and may try and be cheeky by stealing a nibble of any snack you may have! (Please be aware that human foods with dairy or high salt are very bad for birds!) The price for him also includes his large cage, any toys, accessories and food, as well as a travel cage for him.
