Devastating sale — please read carefully It breaks my heart to have to find Marvin a new home, but due to having a baby and not having the time he deserves, I am sadly being forced into this decision. Marvin is a beautiful 4-year-old half show bird/pied who I have had since he was a baby. He is extremely healthy, full of personality, and such a special bird. He is highly intelligent, loves human interaction, and is very bonded with me. Marvin is an amazing talker — he can say over 30 words and phrases and will respond to his name. He has such a funny personality and keeps everyone entertained. He will ask you if you want a cup of tea, tell you to put the kettle on, and sometimes even asks if you want some cake! On match days he’s got you covered with his “toon toon black and white army” chants. He knows all my dogs’ names and will happily shout them out. He also loves reminding everyone that he is a “pretty pretty pretty boy” — he really does know how special he is! Marvin loves his food (and whatever you’re having for dinner, he wants some too!), enjoys tea and biscuits, loves having a bath, and enjoys looking in his mirror. He loves being involved in everything you do and genuinely thinks he is one of the dogs. Marvin has always been used to being out of his cage and having freedom around the house. He gets unhappy if he is left in his cage too much, so he needs a home where he can have plenty of attention, interaction, and time outside his cage. I do have 3 dogs, and Marvin actually chases them and is very comfortable around them. However, I would recommend a home without dogs, as other dogs may not be used to him like mine are. This is a heartbreaking decision as Marvin is a huge part of our family. He needs someone who can give him the love, time, attention, and care he deserves — someone who can give him 110%.
