Description
It is with a heavy heart that we are looking to rehome our little friendly Toffee due to no fault of his own. Our work commitments have changed which means we can’t give him the amount of time and attention he deserves on a daily basis.
Toffee is a brilliant family dog who grew up with 2 cats and is super affectionate and gentle with them. He is past his puppy behaviour stage and is trained in commands like:
-sit
-lay
-give paw
-stay
-leave it (useful when rubbish on ground)
-middle
-stop (useful for traffic light stops)
-place
-toilet trained
He also is great with car rides. With have taken him on road trips that lasted over 5 hours and he slept/chilled the whole journey (we will also provide you with his car seat). Toffee is also good with public transport and sits calmly on the train. He is relatively easy to train (as long as you have good snacks to pay him).
He is very easy to bond with. Whenever we have friends stay round he chooses to sleep and cuddle with them. Toffee loves giving everyone kisses.
Toffees favourite snack is cheese 🧀 he loves sniff toys and country walks. He also knows how to swim and loves going into the water.
In terms of the behaviour that he could improve on is barking at the door knock. I just haven’t yet had the time and opportunity to train this properly.
He is microchipped (to be transferred), health checked, up to date with his vaccinations and always has been (we will provide you with his vaccine card) and has been insured for the time that we’ve had him. He is not neutered as we didn’t see the need.
Toffee will go only to a loving and caring home to a family that can give him the love, time, attention and care that he needs. We will be making sure that he goes to a forever home ONLY.
The £450 is to make sure that the new owner is serious about the commitment and to filter out any impulse buyers.
