Description

Meet Nova – our very special 14-week-old black German Shepherd girl 🖤 Nova is a beautiful, loving and very special 14-week-old black German Shepherd female. She is full of energy and loves to play, but she also has a lovely calm nature and enjoys cuddles and spending time with people. She is potty trained, sleeps comfortably in her crate and is already doing well with her training. She knows how to sit and wait, and she even waits patiently for her food. Nova was originally from one of our own litters, but unfortunately she was attacked by another dog and suffered some injuries. Because of how serious the incident was, we made the decision to keep her ourselves, nurse her back to health and only consider rehoming her once we were completely confident that she was ready. It has now been around a month since the attack, and remarkably, it has not affected Nova’s confidence or temperament. She has shown absolutely no signs of trauma, is not frightened of other dogs and is not dog aggressive. In fact, she gets along wonderfully with our Rottweiler, who she was only introduced to after the incident. We have pictures and videos of them together and are more than happy to show these to genuinely interested potential owners. We honestly feel it is a miracle that Nova survived what she went through, and we have all of her veterinary invoices and can provide her vet notes to her new owner so they have a complete understanding of her history. Nova has been microchipped and has received both of her first vaccinations. She is a very special girl and, although we have become incredibly attached to her, we have a baby due this month and, due to our personal circumstances, we unfortunately cannot give Nova the time, attention and one-to-one care that she deserves going forward. This is an extremely difficult decision for us, and our priority is finding her a loving, caring and permanent home where she will be treated as part of the family. Her price reflects what we believe is reasonable given her circumstances, although we have also invested a considerable amount into her recovery, including a three-day hospital stay and extensive nursing and care at home. We are open to reasonable offers from the right person, particularly if you can demonstrate that you can provide Nova with the permanent, loving and responsible home she deserves. We will be very selective about her new home and would much rather wait for the right family than simply sell her to the first person who enquires.
