Description
Solas is a polish import, 3/4 show and 1/4 working line with lovely, balanced conformation. His most recent show critique reviewing his good proportion and balance, his muscular physique and thick coat, alongside sound and balanced movement. He is a dark golden colour with kind eyes giving way to a gentle expression. Solas weighs approximately 31kg. Solas has had some success in showing and there are some lovely critiques from the judges. Solas will also be heading to Crufts to participate in the BASC class.
Solas is making good progress in gundog training, he has competed in a variety of puppy working tests (AV and Golden Retriever) and achieved 3 placings at 3rd place. We train all over the U.K, alongside a variety of trainers so he is always learning. Solas has also begun to work on on live game and has successfully picked partridge, pheasant and duck whilst being steady and quiet. Solas also participates in mantrailing as a fun pet sport.
Solas lives in a home alongside other entire male dogs with no issue, and has travelled and stayed alongside other dogs and animals. He regularly travels with me around mainland Europe where he has been on mountain gondolas and trains, meeting all kinds of curious strangers along the way. He has a very loving temperament and loves to make friends.
Semen analysis has been done, showing great quality sperm. Fresh and frozen semen can be available upon request.

I would expect Solas’ puppies to be great active pets or potential sport dogs.
