We are proud to announce a fantastic litter of black and yellow Labrador Puppies. Dogs £1200 Bitches £1500 The combination of these two excellent parents, backed up by a suite of clear health tests, will produce biddable, eager to please fantastic family companions with the ability to relax and ‘switch off’ or impressive competition/ working dogs, with the talent and trainability to excel at whatever field they enter. Sire of puppies -FTCh Rowpainter Othello (Otto) had been mated to Jofless Listens Like Spring (June) and has produced 9 healthy puppies. Dam that of puppies - June has the most wonderful temperament, intelligence and work ethic. She really is one of the famous ‘born half trained’ Labradors with natural ability that was so easy to train and just ‘knows’ what to do and when, she also possesses the all important off switch. She is calm, versatile and a loyal working gun dog who is always eager to please. June works many days through the season and is a reliable and calm retriever whose strength and determination means she can retrieve in the most challenging circumstances.  She is a pleasure to have on the peg or picking up, and is always quiet and patient.  She handles well at distance and is totally unfazed in all situations. The mating to John Halsted’s FTCh Rowpainter Othello, should prove to enhance her bloodline even further. The puppies will be hereditary clear of CNM, EIC, HNPK, MCD,SD2 prcd-PRA and STGD. Both parents have been hip and elbow scored: Sire 0/0 elbows 0/0 Dam 3/3 elbows 0/0,  and have clear BVA eye certificates. The puppies are being lovingly raised in our family home seeing and hearing daily sights and sounds. They are KC registered and will come with 5 weeks free insurance. Full details of the puppies parents pedigree below ~ FT Ch Rowpainter Othello (affectionately known as "Otto") is a highly regarded,Field Trial Champion (FT Ch) black Labrador Retriever owned and competed by John Halstead. He is known for his exceptional pedigree, working drive, and gentle temperament. Sired by FT Ch Gunnerspeg Apollo and out of Brocklebank Diamond, he stems from the renowned Drakeshead bloodlines. He boasts impeccable health scores with a 0:0 hip score, 0:0 elbow score, and a clear eye test. He is also clear of the full suite of required health tests. He qualified for the IGL Retriever Championship at his very first attempt as a young dog, and has produced a number of litters with other proven field trial champions. A little about June’s pedigree. Jofless Listens Like Spring also boasts impeccable health scores holding the full suite of required health tests and an impressively low 3/3 hips and 0/0 elbows. Her dam boasts 0/0 hips and 0/0 elbows so the puppies hip & elbow scores are expected to be very impressive . June’s dam is the famous Jofless Piroette 0/0 hips 0/0 elbows who has produced some fantastic Labradors in both the competitive and working fields. Her pedigree includes influential sires such as FTCH Copperbirch Paddy and FTCH Troddenmills Full Throttle of Leacaz. June’s sire is FTCH Craigmaddie Mufasa of Bishopbrae, who is a beautiful example of the labrador breed. He was an International Gundog League Championship (IGL) finalist in 2021, 2022, 2024, 3rd in 2023, & 4th in 2025. His Sire OFTW Devondale Shadow was 2nd IGL 2016. He has 7 IGL Championship winners and 33 FTCHs in his 5-generation pedigree. He was selected to be part of the Scottish Team at the Gamefair in England and the Scottish Gamefair in 2021, 2022 and 2023. Was part of the wining team GB in 2022. In 2023 he was awarded Top Scottish dog owned by someone residing in Scotland. He is truly a dog of a lifetime.
