Description

So Chase is my 8 year old Springer. Hes had 4 homes in total and has been with me for 4 years. He's slowed down slightly and so I'm prepared to find him a better environment as he's wasted in a kennel. Chase CANNOT be let off his lead ANYWHERE. He will bring back a deer given the opportunity. I use him as a doggin in dog with no problems but it's only because I know his cheeky quirks. Chase does pull on a lead. It's slightly annoying as he does know how to heel. He chooses to pull constant. He does approximately 4 hours of exercise a day currently Chase is not a "gundog" he is slightly gun shy and hard mouthed Chase is not good with any small animals. He kennels with a entire Labrador and also a unneutered female Labrador. I feed him seperate as Chase is slightly greedy but otherwise they cuddle up together under the heat lamp with no issues. I would prefer Chase to be a only dog as I would like him to have human companionship on a sofa. He will need time to settle back into a home - toilet training would start from scratch. He has a dodgy tooth which causes him no pain that will most likely sort itself out in time. Vets have advised to leave unless it causes him bother. Chase travels alot with me to country shows camping and he settles really well. He is a very cuddly boy and sleeps in my tent with me with no issues. Chase will be a very sad re-home. I adore him. My other two labs work daily on local shoots and it just isn't fair leaving Chase at home. Chase must go only to a garden that is fully fenced. The smallest of gaps and he will be gone until he brings back a rabbit or bird from somewhere. Chase loves children and was brought up with young children hence his name but I would like him to go to a home with no children as if a small child leaves the front door open... Chase will be off to find something. My garden is not fully fenced as it's a rental and I'm unable to do this. Chase would thrive with a garden to play in Chase would leave with a week's trial to make sure both Chase and potential owner are happy
