Our frenchie is a very anxious dog over noises and certain quick body movements. He can not under any circumstances be placed with or be left with children as he can not be trusted with them. Even for a short amount of time! I do have 2 kids who are 12 and 9, I know his body language with having him for 7 years so I pick it up very quickly when he goes into this weird mood/state and then can part them. This wont be be able to be done with new people. He is and has been fine with adults. We did have him on here last year and a lady with no children took him and he unfortunately bit her lip, but we think this was a startle bite as he was asleep but he has just arrived at the new home, new smells and new people, he would of been stressed out and should of been left alone for 1 -2 weeks to settle in and get used to his new owner. So we need our frenchie to go to someone experienced and someone that has knowledge on these things. He is very playful and loves to play catch. Hes always been a loving dog that just wants to play alot. But again, he is a nervous dog, especially around children. He has nipped the backs of my kids feet in the past, but never bitten them or anyone else. He has also been at our mother in laws for 1 week while we went away and he was absolutely fine. They did have grandchildren over but again this was very closely monitored. He does get out of breathe very easily when running and playing, as he has the frenchie small nose holes. Majority of the time this doesnt effect him, he just can not go on long walks. Short little walks are best. We would like him to go to a adult home who have experienced freinchies and are well educated on their body language.
