Maple is a cheeky 14 month old dog. It is with great sadness that we made the decision to rehome Maple.
Like all dachshunds she is full of energy and loves being with people. Maple has grown up around young children, so she’s is brilliant with kids. She also is good with other dogs and is very eager to say hello to all dogs on walks!
Maple enjoys long walks despite her little size. She does tend to pull on walks so this would be something you’d need to address. Maple’s ideal new owner would have the time and patience to train her and give her the attention she needs. She is a needy dog and can be anxious when left alone. I think she would love a home with children and/or another dog for company as she is most definitely a companion dog, she will be your shadow!
Maple is crate trained and toilet trained. She has not been neutered and has had one season of heat.
I’m asking if she can only go to a home which is a house with a garden as I want her to have that space and freedom to run around a garden, something she hasn’t had before. Please only enquire if you are prepared to give Maple her forever home as I’d hate for her to be rehomed again.
You can guarantee a buddy for life with Maple, she will be under your feet at all times when not snuggling on your nap! Regrettably, with two small children, I am unable to give Maple the attention she deserves, so I wish her to be placed into a loving new home.
