Our son has looked after this lovely blue-tongue skink really well for nearly three years. Unfortunately, as he gets ready for his GCSEs, he has lost interest in keeping reptiles and would now like the space back in his room.
We believe it is an Eastern Australian blue-tongue skink, originally purchased from C&T Exotics for £375. We don’t know the sex for certain, although from its size and shape we suspect it may be male.
It is now a large, impressive and well-established skink, used to being handled and generally very easy to look after.
Everything needed to continue keeping it is included: the large wooden/glass vivarium shown in the photos, heat lamp and lighting, hides, cork bark, branches and enclosure furnishings, supplements and several months’ supply of food.
We’d much rather this went to a responsible, knowledgeable home than simply sell to the first person who offers the money. We’re therefore only interested in genuine buyers who understand the needs of blue-tongue skinks, or someone who has done their research and is serious about providing a good permanent home.
The skink originally cost £375 alone, and considerably more has been spent on the vivarium and complete setup since.
Collection only due to the size of the vivarium.
