Description

We have decided to rehome our beautiful French bulldog Stitch. Due to no fault of his own other than we have recently had a baby and have found it hard to prioritise Stitch and his needs. We've had him since he was a puppy. He is extremely loving and loyal! He's good with kids and other dogs but can be very hyper at first and likes to jump. He loves car rides, long walks and sunbathing! Stitch is very well behaved and trained. He loves his food! He can be stubborn as any French bulldog but as soon as there's treats around he is the most well behaved dog in the world. He knows every command and a few tricks. French bulldogs are prone to have allergies, unfortunately Stitch is no different. His allergies started when he was 18 months old. He was diagnosed with being allergic to certain grass pollens, dust mites and yeast. This causes his skin to become itchy and he suffers hair loss when itching over some time. His ears are also affected which cause itching and can become infected if not managed frequently due to a build up of wax. To manage his allergies we give stitch a bath every 2 weeks with hypoallergenic shampoo. When we notice his allergies getting worse we do it once a week and sometimes twice a week. We use eardrops to keep his ears wax free. Stitch has previously been on a course of steroids (5mg of prednisolone) to help manage his allergies. Stitch's right ear is now flopped due to a hematoma which has now got better and is starting to raise back on its own. We believe that there is a loving home out there waiting for him! He's give us such a joyful 6 years and all that matters to us is that he is well looked after and loved!
