Description
This is a truly heartbreaking rehome of our beloved golden retriever Jac. We have 2 dogs in the family home and our other dog (a bulldog) has taken a dislike to him and has become very aggressive towards him resulting in him being attacked which simply cannot continue for his safety. It would be irresponsible of us to rehome the aggressor so sadly we have to let Jac go to a new home where he will continue to receive the love and care he deserves.
We have had Jac literally since he was born as his mother is owned within the family. This makes this even more upsetting. He has grown up alongside our granddaughter who is the same age as him from newborn and older children. Our youngest daughter is 11. He lives happily with 4 cats with no issues at all. Even our sphynx who is notoriously grumpy! He adores the outdoors and will walk for hours. He does need more work on the lead as he will pull but should be easily correctable. (I have struggled with this due to having a shoulder replacement myself). Whilst Jac is regularly socialised with his own mum and has lived with another dog I would prefer him to be the only dog in the home as he is now afraid of our other dog due to the nature of what has happened which has made him wary upon meeting new dogs. He has started to growl if approached by dogs on walks out of fear so will take someone who understands dog behaviour to work with him to address this and help him to regain his bubbly confidence. Within the home Jac is a total love bug. He is affectionately known as a feinting goat! Due to his tendency to lean in for a cuddle and then literally melt into your lap. He loves being loved and is happiest curled up on the sofa with his humans big or small. He is playful and enjoys many different toys. He even loves being bathed and groomed and a good towel run if he’s muddy! Jac is an entire male which means he will scent mark initially. He is also used to free access to outside space for the toilet. He really could be someone’s dream boy with a bit of work. He thrives on affection and love and only a 5 star home with knowledgeable owners will be considered for our gorgeous boy.

I bought my Sphynx kitten, Ozzy, from laura and I honestly couldn’t recommend her more. She was amazing with communication and provided all the information I needed before and after bringing him home. You can tell she truly cares about her kittens. Ozzy is the most loving, playful little boy and has settled in beautifully. Thank you so much for such a wonderful experience!

Fantastic experience, kittens had been very well taken care of and socialised. Was my first time using pets4homes and they kept me well informed on how the whole process goes and regular updates and pictures on the little ones once reserved and when picking our kitten up any questions we had were happily answered and was given a fluffy toy memento so he would have a familiar smell with him, and offered further help and advice on vets insurance and microchipping.
After getting home our new little guy was expiring within minutes, was happy to eat both wet and dry food, used the litter box with no extra training, and has been an absolute pleasure and when he’s not playing is without a doubt the most cuddly little kitten we have ever known wanting to snuggle up on your lap and purr himself to sleep.
Over all has been a fantastic experience and would 10/10 recommend
