Rehoming. Bertie is a special bird and will only go to the best home. She is a female green cheek who I have known since 2012 when I bought her from a garden centre. She has a 2009 ring but I don't know about her life from then. In 2023 I rehomed her with a lovely person who has now sadly had to return her to me. Unfortunately I do not have the lifestyle to care for Bertie long term so I am seeking a new home for her. Bertie is a very tame, cuddly bird who loves everyone and anyone. She also has met and got on with other conures, so may suit a home with other birds. I also believe Bertie would enjoy an aviary home so I am open to this option too. Bertie can be needy and scream if she is forced to stay in another room away from people. I would love for her to meet another conure friend to keep her company. Priced to avoid breeders and weirdos, but open to dropping price for the right person. She comes with multiple cages, toys, etc. and I + Bertie's most recent home will advise extensively on everything Bertie loves and needs. I am happy for Bertie to be rehomed anywhere in the country and am happy to travel for the right person. Home check and meeting with Bertie must take place before I agree to give him away. This is a very difficult decision and I will only accept the best home for Bertie where I can keep contact. If the person decides they can no longer keep Bertie, Bertie will return to me.
