Two bonded male guinea pigs looking for a loving home. Bertie is black and white and his date of birth is estimated by the breeder to be 26/04/2026. He is an Abyssinian guinea pig. Bean is brown and grey and his date of birth is estimated by the breeder to be 10/05/2026. He is an Abyssinian cross, possibly crossed with a smooth-coated guinea pig. Their exact dates of birth are unknown, and these are the dates estimated by their breeder. Both boys are bonded and have lived together since 05/07/2026. They came from the same breeder but have different parents, as Bertie’s brother was poorly when we brought them home. Bertie was believed to be around 10 weeks old and Bean around 8 weeks old when we brought them home. They live indoors but regularly enjoy supervised time outside in their playpen. Neither boy has been neutered, and neither has ever been housed with or bred with a female. Both boys are very friendly and loving but have different personalities. Bean is the more confident and outgoing of the two. He loves his food, happily eats from your hand and enjoys playing and exploring around you. He is full of character and also loves a cuddle. Bertie is a little less confident than Bean but is incredibly affectionate and loves a cuddle from anyone. He has a lovely, gentle nature and enjoys attention. He also loves his food just as much as Bean! I am absolutely gutted to have to rehome them, but unfortunately, due to a relocation for work, I am having to move to a new home that does not allow pets. This is not a decision I have taken lightly, as I love both boys so much. I want to find them a loving, responsible home where they will continue to receive all the care, attention and affection they deserve. They are bonded and must be rehomed together. They will come with their pet carrier, their temporary cage, all the accessories currently in their hutch, and food and hay to help them settle into their new home. The temporary cage has only been used when we went on holiday for five days and my sister-in-law looked after them for for us. Please note that this cage is not big enough to be their permanent accommodation. They are currently used to a spacious two-storey hutch measuring 6ft, with access to the summer house, so they are accustomed to having plenty of space to move around and explore. Their new home must be able to provide suitable, spacious accommodation for both boys. I would love to find them a safe, loving and permanent home where they can stay together and receive the care and attention they deserve.
