Description

Hi everyone, unfortunately I have to find a new home for my Cookie. I ask that you please take the time to read this through, so I can find her the right person. This has been a very difficult and stressful decision, but it’s what is best for her and that’s the main thing. I first got Cookie in early 2024, rehoming her from a lady who could no longer keep her. She was initially very timid and hands off, so I would say she’s very much a cat who appreciates boundaries and will come to you first when she is comfortable. When she is, she’s such a lovely cat - loves kisses and cuddles and is very talkative. She will often cry for food or attention, and if you talk back she will meow. I really never wanted to rehome her, as she’s become a part of my day-to-day life and I see her as my baby. She’s genuinely like a small child with the way she needs attention and care. Cookie has had a bit of a rough go at life, as she’s had two litters of kittens and with her first they all did not make it. She ended up getting pregnant again, before I was able to spay her & I’m rehoming her kittens too. She won’t be for breeding, as I’ve found she needs to be retired and in a home with only herself as she craves attention. Not only this, but she is terrified of one of my other cats and took the whole year to get used to my other two. I think this is because she was not raised around other cats, and I don’t think she would be suited to an environment with small children as she has never met any. Please take all of the above into consideration, and if you believe you can offer her a lovely home please drop me a message.
