Description

It is with a very heavy heart that, due to my pregnancy and a change in our circumstances, we are looking for a new home for our much\-loved Labrador, Cub. Please note cub is 1 year and 8 months. Cub is a loving, affectionate boy who enjoys being around his people. He has excellent recall, is great with other dogs, and absolutely loves long walks, outdoor adventures, and playing\. He is happiest when he is active and spending quality time with his owner. We want to be completely honest about Cub so that we find the right home for him. Following an attempted rehoming, Cub has shown signs of aggression when he becomes anxious or frightened, including growling and snapping. Because of this, we believe he would be best suited to a **single\-person, adult\-only home** where he can build a strong bond with one owner and receive the one\-to\-one attention, patience, and consistency that we feel he thrives on. Cub is not currently neutered, and we believe this may be contributing to some of his recent behaviour. While we cannot guarantee this is the cause, it is something his new owner may wish to discuss with a vet and an experienced behaviourist. This is not a decision we have taken lightly. We love Cub dearly and our only priority is finding him a safe, understanding home where he can receive the time, patience, and support he deserves. We are looking for an experienced owner who is committed to continuing his training and giving him the loving, stable home he needs. If you think you could offer Cub the right environment, please get in touch\. We will only consider homes where we feel he will be happy, safe, and well cared for.
