Description
Sheldon 1 year 4 months, neutered male, looking for his forever family 💛
I’m heartbroken to be posting this, but due to an upcoming house move, I’m no longer able to keep Sheldon and need to find him a loving new home.
Sheldon has mostly been an indoor cat, though over the last few months he’s been getting supervised outdoor time and absolutely loves running about, watching birds, and hunting flies. He’d do best somewhere he can keep some outdoor access, though he’s just as happy as a mainly-indoor cat too.
He’s incredibly playful and energetic, loves play-fighting and playing with toys etc. Once he trusts you, he’s a real cuddler and will often sleep by your feet or right next to you. He does also enjoy his own space sometimes and isn’t as clingy now he’s a bit older.
He’s a quiet cat generally, he only really meows when he wants food, otherwise he’s not vocal at all. He travels well by car and has done short bus journeys with no issues, though I haven’t taken him on any longer trips so I can’t speak on that.
The essentials:
• Neutered, microchipped, fully up to date on vaccinations (last done a couple of weeks ago) and flea and worm treated
• On a wet food diet (Whiskas)
• Litter trained, used to an automatic litter box but used manual before
• No known health issues
Ideally looking for:
A big, attentive family or an older couple who are home a lot and can give him the attention and playtime he thrives on. He hasn’t lived with other animals, so a home with no current pets is preferred, though if you’re happy to introduce him gradually and it’s a good match, I’m open to that too.
Before rehoming, I’d like to bring Sheldon to meet you in person at your home, so I can see how comfortable he is in the space and make sure it feels right for everyone, including him.
Included with Sheldon (no extra cost): his toys, manual litter box and any fresh litter remaining, any food left, small cat tree, and his basic hygiene kit (claw clippers, fur brush, toothbrush and toothpaste).
Available separately if wanted: his automatic feeder and automatic litter box for £180 together or £150 for the automatic litter box and £40 for the automatic dry food feeder (used, well looked after, not included in his rehoming).
Home visit arranged before confirming, and I’d love updates on how he’s settling in if that’s something you’d be open to. 💛
