The puppies are being brought up in our home which includes adults, children and other dogs of different ages. They are therefore very well socialised and enjoy living as part of a pack and family.
Mum is a mini chocolate dapple dachshund with a very quiet and loyal temperament. She has nurtured and cared for these puppies in the most astonishing way. Dad is a KC registered mini chocolate dachshund with a relaxed and friendly temperament.
Their litter consists of a mixture of girls and boys with very quiet and friendly temperaments.
Eros – Chocolate Boy - Probably the most chill and relaxed little boy I have ever met! Absolutely nothing phases him, he doesn’t push for food, just waits patiently! He takes life all in his stride. He was the first to venture out of their little house and the first born!
Angel – Dapple Girl - Born the smallest. Due to her size, she required some help from us in the first week and has had to learn to fend for herself against her much bigger siblings. This has resulted in the creation of a very feisty little girl who, despite her size, can pack a punch!
Bijou – Dapple Girl – She is a happy go lucky little girl who has always found pleasure is her siblings, milk and food. She will follow the lead of her siblings over being a leader herself. She is easy to please and doesn’t want for much!
Amor – Chocolate Girl - A very timid little girl who thrives on being nurtured and reassured. Massaging the top of her head whilst being held close works wonders and she will thrive in a calm and gentle household. I warn you. This girl likes to her food and to explore different tastes! Any chef fur baby parents around!?
Romeo – Dapple Boy - This big boy is nothing short of a chunky monkey! He is a beefy mamas boy! Likes to play with his siblings and being close to them, but equally, he is not very adventurous at all. He likes his structure and routine and knowing what’s going on!
J’Dore – Dapple Girl – This girl rules the roost but she does so in a way that is kind and caring. If one of her siblings is upset, she will lay close to them, she walks around the house and it looks like she is undertaking surveillance! Her siblings seem to follow her lead. She has confidence!
Venus and Cupid THE TWINS born in a single sack!
Venus – Chocolate Girl. Cupid – Chocolate Boy - As they are both solid colours, it is harder to see how identical they are. They have quite stocky physiques and outstripped their siblings in size after the first week. They are now literally double the size of some of their siblings! Venus and Cupid also have exactly the same temperaments. They can be quite forward and use their weight to get what they need. Having said this, they are also extremely quiet and reserved and prefer huddling with their siblings over adventure! They are not overtly codependent on each other so I think that they can remain together but also be apart with different families.
These puppies are currently still on their mother’s milk but being weaned on Lilly’s Kitchen wet food.
Visits are absolutely essential so that you may make a connection with the puppy that will join your family. Once a decision has been made, a holding fee will be required. We are in no hurry for them to go to just anyone but would rather ensure that their new family is able to provide them with the very best love, food, shelter, care, and attention they deserve.
