Description
Beautiful JOJO was found, together with another girl (JESS) - most likely her sister, in a weekly market ; probably dumped there by some ruthless individual(s). You can see here a few photos with both of them - as small and bigger puppies. Jess has already been adopted by a family in Scotland. Well, both of them have been adopted by the same, very loving, family, but when they had to be separated, as they started to have … arguments, so here she is - back to us.
Smart and generally well behaved, JOJO is friendly with everybody, but wary with some unknown people and sometimes unknown dogs. Typical to her Sheep-Dog breed, she can be boisterous at times and overprotective - that is why JOJO changed hands twice already. She’s a fast learner, though and will benefit from some training in a Loving family.
She loves playing with other dogs and, obviously, she loves human affection !
We won't let JOJO go to first-time dog owners or to somebody without experience handling high-energy breeds. She will not go to an elderly person or to a family with children. JOJO will thrive with an owner / family who understands her needs and who can provide proper training and structure with a rather active lifestyle.
JOJO is a medium / large size girl. We think she has some Collie and some Carpathian Sheepdog in her.
She was fully vaccinated. We’ve had her spayed, too.
As well as all our dogs, JOJO has had a comprehensive set of blood tests (4Dx/Heartworm etc & Brucella), before rehoming - for everybody’s peace of mind. She is a very healthy girl !
Friends InDeed is a registered Charity.
Home-Check (even done online, during these times) is compulsory.
We do NOT supply dogs to non-genuine Dog-Loving people. There are all kind out there... can’t be too careful !
We do not supply work, assistance or service dogs, regardless of what noble/moral it would be ! We will need your promise that JOJO will reside as a PET in your Home and she will be well looked-after and loved !
Should you ad0pt her - you will also agree to keep in touch with us, for years to come - so we can help with any issues.
You must have your own garden and no children under 10 years old to adopt a dog from our rescue.
We are a 100% genuine and transparent Rescue and are doing substantial efforts to save these lives. We reserve the right to ask any (different) price / donation for our rescue dogs - depending on circumstances. In most cases, we are hardly covering the costs !
Our preferred method of contact is over the phone or WhatsApp - as we work during the day, with limited access to e-mails ; it is also more expedient - we can exchange most information in one go.
We keep in touch with all adopters (more than 500 families, so far). On request, we can obtain & provide good references from any of them.
You can meet her in our place - NG14 6NY, or -as we do with most of our doggies- we can bring JOJO almost anywhere in the country and you won’t have to pay a penny until you have her !
Please, please - NO TIMEWASTERS !
Thank You !
