Description

Unfortunately our other rat has passed away and we’re not looking to get anymore. We would like to find our lone male a new home so he can thrive with other cage mates! He was originally bonded with a separate rat who had passed away but he had since bonded well with our little boy who has now passed. He was no trouble to bond with them so I imagine he would be easy to introduce to a group (provided it is done properly) He does have red eyes which means his vision is not the best, he does have a tendency to nip if you’re trying to hand feed a snack as he can’t see properly. He is also quite a timid rat so it will take him some time to get used to you. Has had a cyst previously on his neck, this has cleared up fine with no issues. He does have some light sniffles sometimes but he’s had them since we rescued him around Christmas. We were told he was 2 years old but were unsure of this as when we got him, he looked quite young. We’re based in Wakefield - happy to drop off if not too far away as we would like to make sure he goes to a good home. We would also appreciate some information on set ups that you have and photos so we can make sure he will have a lovely new place to live.
