Maisie is a 2 year old cross breed.
She is house trained and has good recall off lead.
Maisie is a very loving and affectionate dog once she knows you, she is a big dog and needs her exercise but is also very good at relaxing and being lazy.
She isn’t a huge fan of toys but she is very food motivated, loves treats and loves chasing a ball. She is very good off lead and always listens.
Maisie does have some behaviour issues as she does tend to resource guard when it comes to other dogs. She has never shown any aggression to me or another person but I have seen her growl at other dogs so please bare that in mind.
I’m not sure how Maisie is around children as she hasn’t been around them. She does not like cats. She is friendly with other dogs but she can be quite nervous so she needs someone who can give her time to adjust.
I think ideally Maisie would be the only pet in the household or her new owners would be with her 90% of the time. She is very nervous around new people and won’t love you in the first second of meeting. She needs someone who will understand that and be patient with her. If you don’t have time for that, Maisie is not the dog for you.
Ideally her new owners would not leave her alone for long periods of time
