Description
On the 19th March Missy, my beautiful KC registered black roan and tan show type cocker spaniel, gave birth to a litter of healthy, chunky little pups.
These pups are really unusual and varied in their colours and patterns.
At the moment I have 9 pups still available:
1 x Brown and tan with white star boy
3 x Blue roan boys
2 x Apricot roan girls
1 x Blue roan girl
1 x Dark brown and tan girl
1 x Black and tan boy
The father of this litter is a gorgeous, extensively health tested KC registered apricot and white stud miniature poodle Hercules. He is a sort after stud with a wonderful loving temperament. I can provide a copy of the parents’ papers along with photos as requested.
Missy’s health tests, as recommended by the Kennel Club, are:
Progressive Retinal Atrophy - CLEAR
Familial Nephropathy COL4A4 - CLEAR
Acral Mutilation Syndrome GDNF- CLEAR
Hercules’s health tests are:
Progressive Retinal Atrophy (PRCD) - CLEAR
Degenerative Myelopathy - CLEAR
GM2 Gangliosidosis (Poodle variant) - CLEAR

Viewings can be by WhatsApp any time or in person once the pups have reached 4 weeks old. The pups will be ready to leave mum on the 14th May. I send out frequent WhatsApps to prospective puppy families once a pup is reserved and set up a group for all the families for the litter, so that they can chat and share experiences after collecting their pups.
The pups were born in my family home, where all my dogs live. They will be raised as part of our family, and so their early socialisation started at day one. For the first three weeks I keep them in a quiet warm room away from all the normal household activity, then when they are ready, they are moved into our living space to experience everything they would be most likely to encounter in your family home. I start training the pups to use puppy pads at approx. 3 weeks of age to help with toilet training once they leave me. The pups will also go into the garden and hopefully get used to wearing a small collar and lead.
They will be thoroughly health checked by my vet and will come with the certificates from both their parents’ many DNA health checks. I also include a copy of both parents KC registration certificates, so that you can see the family tree of your pup! They will be microchipped and have had their first inoculation. I complete an RSPCA style puppy pack and you will have a schedule of all the socialisation that each pup has received. I will also provide a puppy settling in pack containing: food for a week; a home made comfort blanket that smells of Missy and the other pups; a couple of toys also smelling of mum and siblings. I am on hand both before and after the pups leave me, I am happy to help with any questions you might have regarding bringing your pup home and how to settle him/her into her new home. I also produce a list of handy items you might need to get prior to your pup coming home.
A non-refundable deposit of £250 will reserve the pup of your choice. Once reserved, you would be welcome to come back for another visit prior to collection, to help you and your pup to bond. I have found this is also a great opportunity for you to ask questions in person. Some new puppy families like to bring something from home, for the pup to get used to a different set of smells.
I am a council licensed breeder: with my premises, paperwork, method of care and dogs all having been inspected by a vet and an environmental health officer prior to the licence being granted. I work at the ‘higher standards’ within the licensing schedule. I take the welfare of my dogs very seriously and they enjoy the best life I can give them.
