Milo is our beautiful 11-month-old male black Labrador who is looking for his forever home. This is an incredibly difficult decision for our family and one that has not been made lightly. Milo is a wonderful, loving dog, but due to changes in our family circumstances, we feel it is in his best interests to find a home that can give him the time, attention, exercise and companionship that a young Labrador needs. Milo is a very affectionate, friendly and loving boy. He absolutely adores people and loves being involved in family life. He enjoys cuddles, fuss and attention and has a lovely, happy personality. He is a typical young Labrador — playful, energetic, curious and full of enthusiasm. He is used to living in a family home with children, another Labrador and two cats. He is friendly and has grown up around other animals, although, as with any young dog, he can get excited and needs appropriate supervision and boundaries. At 11 months old, Milo is still very much a youngster and has plenty of growing, learning and maturing to do. He is clever and has lots of potential, but he needs an owner who is prepared to continue his training and give him consistent boundaries, exercise and mental stimulation. Milo would ideally suit an active home where he will have plenty of company and opportunities for walks, play and enrichment. He loves being around his people and can struggle if left alone for long periods, so a home where someone is around for much of the day would be preferable. He can be boisterous and mischievous, as you would expect from a Labrador of his age, and he still has some puppy habits. He enjoys chewing and exploring and needs someone who understands that he is still learning and developing. We want to be completely honest about Milo because finding the right home is far more important to us than finding him a home quickly. He is a much-loved member of our family and this decision has been heartbreaking. We are looking for someone who will treat Milo as part of the family and give him the love, patience, training and attention he deserves. In the right home, we have no doubt that he will grow into a fantastic adult Labrador and a wonderful lifelong companion. We are in no rush and will carefully consider enquiries. Please tell us a little about yourself, your home, your lifestyle, any experience with Labradors or other dogs, and the type of home you could offer Milo. Serious enquiries only, please.
