Description
It is with a very heavy heart that I’m looking for a new forever home for my beautiful Springer Spaniel, Arlo, due to a big change in my personal circumstances.
Arlo has been with me since he was 10 weeks old and is now 1 year and 3 months old. He is a lovely, affectionate boy who has grown up in a busy family home with my three children and two cats, so he is used to everyday household noise and activity.
He is a bright and eager dog who already knows several commands including sit, down, paw, and waits nicely for his food. We are currently continuing to work on improving his recall, which is coming along well with consistency.
Arlo sleeps well overnight and is happy being left downstairs outside of his crate. He will also go into his crate for short periods such as during mealtimes. He is used to being left for short periods for school runs and quick food shops, and we have been gradually working on increasing this.
As a typical Springer, Arlo loves being active and going for walks. He has lots of energy and would thrive in a home that can give him plenty of exercise and stimulation. One of his absolute favourite things is water, and we often visit local rivers where he is happiest splashing around.
This decision hasn’t been made lightly, and finding the right home is very important to me. I would love for Arlo to go to a family or individual who can give him the time, attention, exercise and love he deserves.
