Description
Hi, I’m Helen and I am the owner of a small, home based, breeding business in the South Suffolk countryside, I bred my 1st litter in 2013 and I have a 5* license with Babergh Council. I currently have 3 working cockers and 1 Fox Red Lab in my breeding program as well as the Mother of the lab who is now 10 and retired. My dogs all live as part of our family. The girls are all fully health tested, vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms appropriately. The spaniels are hip-scored, the lab, hip and elbow. They’re KC/BVA eye screened and appropriately gene tested including AON for the spaniels. None of my dogs are trained as working dogs, they’re all family pets but they all come from working bloodlines and I always use working studs who are also fully health tested.
The litter I’d like to introduce you to today is from my, almost 6yr old, home bred fox red Labrador, Foxy (KC Reg name Roseorwell Foxy Lady). This is Foxy’s 3rd litter and 1st with stud, Sid (Gingerfox Vanguard of Kanzanglaze), also a fox red Labrador. Sid is a handsome boy and after competing in two field trials in the 25/26 season, Sid came away with ‘Guns Choice’ on both occasions. He also came in 1st place during his third ever field trial. His temperament shines both in the field and at home where he’s often out visiting care homes as a registered therapy dog.
Foxy has received folic acid throughout her pregnancy as well as regular flea, tick and worming, including Panacur daily from day 40. As a result she has produce a litter of 7 strong pups all of good size. She has 2 boys and 5 girls and I currently have reservations for both of the boys and 1 girl yet to be selected. 4 other girls remain available. Viewings start on the weekend they are 4 weeks old. The 3 clients already reserved will have 1st, 2nd and 3rd choice of the litter.
Regarding health testing, both parents have been extensive tested including;
KC/BVA eye screening with Gonioscopy
Hipscores;
Foxy 3-3, Sid 0-0,
Elbow scores;
Foxy 0, Sid 0.
Gene tests; - All Clear

Puppies will be clear of the above gene tests. This gives peace of mind that these conditions, known to be associated with the breed, the puppies will not go on to develop or pass to potential offspring.
The puppies are whelped and raised in our home. For the 1st 4 weeks they are in a quiet area with little disturbance to leave Willow to get on with being Mum. They are weighed daily for the 1st 2 weeks to ensure all are gaining weight nicely and they get daily handling for this purpose. They are then weighed on a weekly basis. Once their eyes and ears are open around 2 wks we start to interact with them a little more and at 4 weeks they move into our conservatory or kitchen diner in a large pen and crate setup. Here they get to experience the comings and goings of family and pack members with lots of household noises to acclimatise them to a busy household environment. We do also have a cat who loves to hang his tail into the pen from a vantage point and tease them!
The puppies will be treated with Panacur at 2, 4, 6 and 8 weeks. They will be treated for fleas and ticks with Simparica. They will be vaccinated between 7 and 8 weeks with Nobivac 4. They will be ready to move to their new homes from 8-10 weeks.
I am a fully qualified microchip technician so this will also be done here at around 6 weeks. The microchip package comes with a tag and track service which makes relocating lost puppies/dogs with their owner much easier. It also allows for changing home details for when your on holiday and a 24hour free vet helpline.
The puppies will be weaned onto Beta puppy food and a 2kg bag will be included in the puppy pack along with a piece of nice smelly bedding, 4/5 weeks puppy insurance with Pet Plan and Kennel Club giving you a choice of excellent insurers and peace of mind over the 1st couple of weeks or so. The puppies will all be Kennel Club registered with a 5 generation pedigree certificate included in the pack.
The puppies are provided with a contract of sale with full details of parentage, info about the puppy and my details plus info on all that has happen with them in their 1st 8/10 weeks of life. You are also provided with assurance that if your circumstances change at any time and you can no longer look after you puppy/dog, at any age, it can be returned to me free of charge and I’ll re home on your behalf.
Puppies can be viewed from 4.5 weeks of age. A deposit will be required to secure the puppy of your choice and until such deposit is received it will be available to other buyers although I will hold it for you without deposit for 24hrs from viewing. I do not take any monies before a viewing takes place or at the time of the actual viewing. All deposits and balances are payable by bank transfer with invoices provided for transparency.
I think I’ve covered everything but please don’t hesitate to ask any questions you may have.
The puppies in this litter will have the kennel names below subject to acceptance by the kennel club.
