š¾ VERY SPECIAL FOREVER HOME NEEDED FOR RONNIE š¾
This is an incredibly difficult decision and one I havenāt made lightly. Iām looking for a loving, permanent home for my gorgeous French Bulldog, Ronnie.
Ronnie is 5 years old and currently not neutered. Unfortunately, he and his dad have developed rivalry as theyāve got older and are now fighting. Because of this, I feel Ronnie would be much happier in a home where he can be the only dog and have all the love and attention to himself.
ā¤ļø About Ronnie
Ronnie is a loving, affectionate boy and is great with children. His recall is amazing, and he loves being around his family.
He is a typical Frenchie and ideally needs somebody who already has experience with French Bulldogs or brachycephalic breeds and understands that their needs can be different from other dogs.
Because of his breathing, Ronnie cannot manage long walks or strenuous exercise, particularly in warm weather. He can also occasionally regurgitate his food, especially if he becomes active too soon after eating, so he needs to be allowed to completely chill and relax after his meals.
These are things we have learned to manage with him, but I want his new owner to fully understand his needs and be prepared to continue doing the same.
š” The home Iām looking for:
⢠Ideally an only-dog home
⢠Someone experienced with French Bulldogs would be strongly preferred
⢠A loving, stable and permanent family home
⢠Someone who understands his breathing/exercise limitations
⢠Someone happy to manage his feeding routine and give him quiet time after meals
⢠Absolutely no breeders
Ronnie isnāt being rehomed because he is a bad dog. This is specifically because of the fighting and rivalry between him and his dad, and I need to do what is safest and happiest for them both.
He means a lot to us, so he will not be going to the first person who asks. I want to speak properly with anyone interested and make sure their home and circumstances are right for Ronnie.
I would also really appreciate updates once heās settled, because letting him go is going to be extremely difficult.
š¾ Serious, genuine enquiries only please. Tell me a little about yourself, your home, any children or pets you have, and your previous experience with French Bulldogs. ā¤ļø
