It is with a heavy heart that I am looking to rehome our Cavapoo, Waffle. He's 2 1/2 years old, neutered and up to date on vaccinations and flea/worm treatment.
I'll be as honest as I can here as I want his next home to be forever.
We bought him from someone a year ago, under false pretences, not realising some of the issues he has. Overall he's a very sweet boy, loves cuddles, toys, rides in the car and walks. Unfortunately he's very reactive on meeting other dogs and despite our best efforts he's no better. He appears to be very aggressive however if anyone allows their dog next to him, within a few minutes he just wants to play, I think he's just scared of the unknown as he does have a couple of doggy friends. He's very similar with people, he tends to be very stand offish until he gets time to meet them and then he's fine. He loves to be off lead and play with a ball, however as he is the way he is we can only do this at enclosed dog spaces when he's alone so he could do with a garden to play in.
Unfortunately after everything we've tried I'm just unable to cope with him out on walks and can't help but feel he'll be better off with someone who can work with him or an environment that suits him better.
