Description
Merida is a lovely chatty healthy girl, neutered, health tested, up to date with vaccinations as well as for fleas and worms.
She is used to other cats but never been around dogs, so I would be inclined to say no dogs.
I originally bred her and she returned to me a few months ago. Since her return, she has been used to going outdoors in our cat proofed secure garden and running around outdoors.
I am looking for a similar set up for her as she's always been an indoor cat with secure outdoor access, I feel that's important to keep her mental health stable. I don't want her cooped up in a flat all day long, I'm looking for that special forever home.
She doesn't mind other cats but wants to be top cat with her human, she will try and push my other cats out of the way for affection and hiss at them to keep them away from me, but ordinarily she is super sweet and very cuddly.
Full disclosure, she has a very very mild entropian affecting her left eye, which our vets have examined twice (I got a second opinion) and decided it's not severe enough for surgery. It gets watery sometimes but it doesn't seem to bother her that much.
All her bloodwork came back normal last month and she has a clean bill of health, no heart liver or kidney issues.
Prior to leaving us, she will have a full groom, and come with a rehoming agreement ensuring that if ever you cannot keep her, she can come back to us, so that she's never left with nowhere to go.
I had planned to keep her, it's been a tough decision to rehome her, but I have other elderly maine coons who are being pushed out and they no longer come for their cuddles or sleep next to me at night.
So reluctantly have decided to look for a home with maybe only one other or no other cats, no dogs, where she can be top cat and have her human all to herself.
Please feel free to ask questions and get in touch if you have the perfect home to offer her.
Thank you
