Pablo is 4 years old and was rehomed once his owner had passed. He is a loving and caring dog that just wants to play and be cuddled. Rehoming Pablo isn’t an easy decision, however I myself have a 1 year old and my partner has just started working away all week so I’m struggling to give him the love and care he deserves. Not the best choice for first time owners because Dachshunds often have a mind of their own

Care must be taken with puppies because they must not be allowed to jump up or down from anywhere because it could damage their backs and joints

They are prone to putting on too much weight if not given enough daily exercise

The breed is known to suffer from quite a few health concerns so vet bills can be high and why pet insurance is so important for anyone owning a Dachshund
