Unfortunately, i’m having to sell my british shorthair as it’ll be in her best interest. Missy is a loving adorable cat who ive had since she was a kitten. When we picked missy up she was very anxious and we thought she would settle in abit better which she did after a while , she quickly bonded with our mainecoon and bonded with me.
However over time her anxiety has become worse and our household has become to much for her , she needs to go to a quiet home . Definitely no children and preferably no pets . She has bonded extremely well with our other cats which i believe she will do with other cats ( it will be a long process ) . She’s an indoor cat and has been her whole life , she has a catio in the garden which she loves . Being outdoors worries me as she’s gets so startled over the little things , it’s possible she would run away.
She needs quiet loving home with owners that understand it’s going to take her a while to come around and she needs some space sometimes.
Missy does throw up a lot and struggle with diarrhoea however we use a paste from the vets to stop this which works everytime . Well then feed her cooked chicken for a while after which she loves and helps settle her belly . Missy will have these issues mainly after we’ve had house guests ( due to the noise and people she isn’t comfortable with). Recently she’s also began over grooming around her front and back legs, I have tried to spend more time with her to ease her mind but as i said I believe she needs a quieter home .
She is fully litter trained has been her whole life , she’s fully vaccinated and flea and wormed treated frequently. She’s been spayed and also has been microchipped. She isn’t a fussy eater at all she loves most foods / wet foods, she’ll also eat meat including chicken and fish .
It’s breaking my heart to do this the is the last option i wanted to resort to. She is the sweetest soul once she becomes used to you and loves the attention. Please don’t message me if you’re not serious about her situation and helping her .
