My mum is also sadly sick, making it so hard to look after her to my fullest.
This is one of the hardest things I’ve ever had to write. 💔
My sweet girl is my baby and my best friend, and anyone who knows me knows how much I love her. Making this decision has brought me to tears many times, but I have to be honest about what’s best for her, not just what’s easiest for me.
With my new job, I’m away long hours 5 days a week, pretty much 12 hours a day.. and I can see that this life isn’t fair to her. She deserves more time, attention, and companionship than I’m able to give right now. She deserves a home where she isn’t alone so much, where she can get the love and presence she needs every day.
Because I love her so much, I’m considering finding her a new home. This is not about giving her away lightly — it’s about putting her happiness first. I will only consider the absolute right people and the right home. Someone patient, loving, and ready to treat her like family.
This breaks my heart, and there’s no rush — I just want to find what’s truly best for her. If you or someone you trust can offer a wonderful, stable, and loving home, please reach out and tell me about yourself and your environment.
