🇬🇧🐾 A LITTLE SURVIVOR IN NEED OF URGENT FOSTER OR HOME 🐾🇬🇧 ❤️🐶 CARMEN – A Sweet Girl Who Wants to Feel Safe Again 🐶❤️ 🏠 LOOKING FOR URGENT FOSTER OR FOSTER-TO-ADOPT HOME 🏠 📍 Location: Derby (DE24) 🌟 RBU, post-adoption support and 4 weeks ******************Plan insurance provided upon adoption 🌟 🐾 Meet Carmen — 3,5-4 years old small-to-medium girl with a tender heart and a gentle soul. She arrived in the UK just a week ago, hoping for her happy ever after… but instead, she now finds herself urgently needing a new place to go. Her current home feels too loud, too busy, and simply overwhelming for a sensitive girl like her. Carmen needs calm, kindness, and a quiet environment where she can finally breathe out. ✨ Highlights ✨ • SIZE: Lower-medium, 43 cm / 16 kg (below the knee) • SPAYED: Yes • CHARACTER HIGHLIGHTS: Affectionate • Playful • Loyal • People-oriented • DOGS: Was always good with other friendly dog, but now arrived at home with older dog and it didn’t work as good as was expected. • CATS: Not tested • CHILDREN: Best with older, calm children 12+ (or child-free home) 💔 Rescue Story 💔 Carmen once belonged to a loving family — until war shattered everything. When her owners fled abroad, they left her behind with an elderly grandmother who simply couldn’t keep up with a young, energetic dog. Soon Carmen was seen wandering near rubbish bins, searching for the people who had vanished from her world. Volunteers recognised her from social media posts and brought her to safety. Slowly, she learned again what it meant to be loved and cared for… and then finally, last week, she made her journey to the UK to start a new life. But sadly, her new home has turned out not to be the right fit. Not because Carmen has behavioural issues — she doesn’t — but simply because she is too sensitive for a busy, noisy household. Now she urgently needs a quiet, understanding foster place where she can settle without stress. 🐾 More About Carmen Carmen is a people-focused girl. She loves walks, adores cuddles, and blossoms when she feels safe. She is affectionate, loyal, and happiest when close to her human. Outdoors she is curious and active; indoors she is gentle, calm, and content to relax. Her current home says: “Carmen is a very special girl who needs a lot of love but also occasionally a place to settle down on her own after a long day. She’s not very keen on loud children and noises. Very outdoorsy — loves walks and a cuddle afterwards. I believe she needs someone without children or other pets, someone active and living in a quiet neighbourhood. She deserves the absolute best.” Carmen is clean indoors, settles well, and has no destructive tendencies. She simply needs a quiet environment and patient humans who understand sensitive dogs. 🏡 Ideal Family Carmen would thrive with: • a calm, quiet home • someone who enjoys regular walks and outdoor adventures • no children or calm older children • with other friendly dog or as the only pet (her current stress suggests she may prefer to be the only dog for now) • someone who won’t leave her alone for long hours She would be the perfect companion for an adult household that enjoys nature, gentle routines, and a strong bond with their dog. 🩺 Health Information Carmen is fully healthy, spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped. All dogs are C.Brucella tested before travel (owners receive a licensed laboratory certificate). 💞 Carmen has survived loss, war, and heartbreak — and still offers nothing but love. Now she urgently needs a quiet corner of the world where she can finally feel safe, valued, and truly home.
